Receive A package on 6 april , a new addition to my collections , BUT the speaker came all beat up as it arrived in a trash bag wrap only with bubble wraps. and the UK Ebay seller listed speakers as working condition and you can see the speakers don't have it's foam surround anymore.

1. start by replacing foam surround , i did order 1 set of foam surround before starting to bid for the mission 707 speaker , but did not aspect to use it so soon.

2. repair damaged  area of  speaker cabinet , have to remove all the wood vinyl sticker.                  

the 1st cabinet is badly damaged. its being held together by black tape, i managed to fix-it by using wood glue and large f clamps to hold it in place overnight.

                 a big piece broken off , fix-it with wood glue and held in place with tape

3. Prepare the wood veneer (Teak)                                                                                    

Final light sanding

wax paper was place at all corner to prevent veneer from sticking

                                                 cut both strip at the same time , so it have a matching joint

                                           Remove wax paper , and press down the joint

test fit

                                                            wash the front panel

well, this what it look like inside

                                                  rejuvenate the cloth fabric with shoe polish

some stretching , pulling and reglue the cloth
